i10 is pleased to confirm that we have maintained our Cyber Essentials Plus certification as part of our continued commitment to cybersecurity.
The certification comes following a technical audit of our systems to verify that our Cyber Essential controls are in place and operating effectively. The scope of the technical audit included the whole organisation and verified a representative set of user devices, all internet gateways and all servers with services accessible to unauthenticated internet users. This higher level of assurance will further reassure our public sector clients that our services are secure. Our IASME certification can be verified on the National Cyber Security Centre website here.
Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government-backed scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. Cyber Essentials is designed to prevent these attacks, giving i10 protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber attacks. This is important because vulnerability to simple attacks can make organisations a target for more in-depth unwanted attention from cybercriminals and others.
Certification gives us peace of mind that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber-attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets that do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
